The e-mail application allows you to read and manage your e-mails in a simple manner.
Please follow these steps to set up the e-mail program.
Please note that the set up below uses the information for Gmail set up. If you are using other service then Gmail the server and port information will differ from what is stated below.
Double click on the e-mail icon to open the e-mail client
The following window will appear the first time you open the application:

Click on "OK" to continue
The following screen will appear:

Click on "OK" once again to continue
The below window will appear allowing you to input your e-mail settings:

For the purposes of this explanation, the setting for Gmail will be used, however the settings may vary depending on the e-mail service used. Consult your e-mail service provider to confirm the necessary parameters.
Input all required fields. For johnsmith@gmail.com for example the following fields will need to be specified
Full Name: John Smith Mail address:johnsmith@gmail.com Protocol: POP3 (specify protocol according to the settings of your e-mail provider) Server for receiving: pop.gmail.com SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com User ID: johnsmith@gmail.com Password: ********
Next, click on the "Receive" tab to display the following table:

Select either "Download all messages" or specify the size of amounts of e-mails by selecting "Receive size limit 1024 KB".
Ensure that "Filter messages on receiving" has been selected
Click on the Send tab, it will display the following window:

Click off "SMTP Authentication"
Click on the SSL tab in order to display the following:

Click on "Use SSL for POP3 connection"
Click on "Use SSL for SMTP connection"
Click on the "Advanced" tab to show the following window:

Click on "Specify SMTP port" and input port:465 Click on "Specify POP3 port" and input port:995
Click on "Put sent messages in" specify in the "Sent" folder Click on "Put draft messages in" specify in the "Drafts" folder Click on "Put queued messages in" specify in the "Queue" folder Click on "Put deleted messages in" specify in the "Trash" folder
You may now click on "OK" to continue
The following window will appear allowing you to add additional e-mail accounts and further adjust the e-mail parammeters.

If you are finished, click on "Close"
Click on "Get all" to begin downloading your emails.

Should you receive an error message, and are unable to download your e-mails, click on "Configuration" -> "Preferences for current account" and double check the parameters with your e-mail provider.
